Buying or Selling a Property

If you are in the process of buying or selling a property, we are able to assist you by:
• Reviewing your standard contract prior to you signing it
• Drafting any documents or clauses required
• Providing you with advice and guidance in relation to the terms of the contract
• Providing you with advice on stamp duty and the first home owner’s grant (purchases)
• Diarising and advising of critical dates of your contact
• Carrying out standard searches for the property
• Advising you of any additional searches that are appropriate for the property
• Liaising with you in relation to building and pest inspections;
• Liaising with your financial institution in relation to finance approval (purchases)
• Calculation of government stamp duty payable (purchases)
• Confirming and advising you of the settlement amount required
• Liaising with your financial institution in relation to settlement
• Calculation of settlement figures, cheque details and settlement day instructions

Please contact our friendly staff to discuss the costs involved in other conveyancing matters, but for standard sales and purchases in NSW, we charge a flat rate of $1,300 plus GST plus disbursements.
If your matter complex or involves complex searches and/or liaising between the parties, we reserve the right to charge additional fees. Any potential additional fees will be discussed with you prior to us charging.
